Lean Consortium

Welcome to our new Blog / Site

As our Consortium grows across Georgia, we created this site to encourage a greater level of interaction and sharing of ideas. We hope that you visit often and contribute your thoughts and experiences on your Lean journey.

The initial Blog posts will be submitted by the Georgia Tech Lean team and Consortium members, and registered guests can provide comments. Ultimately, we want contributions from our members as well. You’ll be hearing more about the process for generating posts. We all learn from our successes, stumbles, and our ‘Aha!’ moments.

The calendar presents the upcoming events in a way that you can see the opportunities in your area. Some events (especially webcasts) will be available to everyone.

You’ll also be able to see the growth of the consortium. Recently an Augusta group was added, and we’re expecting two more groups to be added in 2009, one in the northwest and one in the Gwinnett/Gainesville area.

Some of our favorite links and resources will be included, although we’re not intending to compete with other sites for content value. Our goal is to facilitate the Consortium activities and to help our companies improve. As we go, we’ll figure out what role this site will play in the mission.
